Gremien und Struktur

(English Version below)

1. Nach welchen Regeln funktioniert die Studierendenvertretung?

    Satzungen und Ordnungen

2. Studierendenrat, das Legislativorgan

3. Fachbereiche, Deine direkte Vertretung

4. AStA, das Exekutivorgan

5. Referate, die Inhaltsmaschinen

6. WSSK, die Judikative

7. Wahlen

8. VV und Urabstimmung

9. Amtliche Bekanntmachungen

Committees and Structure

What does the Students' Union do?

How is it structured?

Who or What is the Students’ Council?

In the following section we are going to answer these (and more) questions.

The Students‘ Union (Studierendenvertretung) is an organisation, which consists of the student body

and advocates the interests of the students. Due to the underrepresentation of the student body

in the academic committees, the representation of students‘ interests is an important issue.

Particularly in negotiations with the university – may it be with your faculty, your institute or the

University Executive Board itself – the representation of students‘ interests is crucial,

especially considering that the student body is the largest faction at the university.

Through the Students‘ Union the student body is able to express opinions on not only broad

socio-political issues but also on local issues related to Freiburg.

So, please keep in mind: If we don‘t stand up for our interests, no one will!

The Student‘s Union is organised in a direct democratic way. This was decided in a ballot vote in 2013.

With the result of the ballot vote it is now possible for every student to vote and to get information everywhere and anytime.

Where and how you can participate:

  1. How does the Students‘ Union work? Statute and Ordinances

  2. Students’ Council, the legislative body

  3. Departmental committees

  4. AStA (General Students‘ Committee), the executive body

  5. Working Groups of the Students‘ Union, the policy makers

  6. WSSK (Commission for Elections, Statute and Conciliation), the judiciary

  7. Elections

  8. Plenum and ballot vote

  9. Bulletins
