The executive body – Or: We do what the StuRa decides.
The StuRa elects the AStA. The AStA consists of up to 21 representatives from the departments who work on specific topics. It also includes the Executive Board of the Student Council.
The AStA always meets on Fridays at 14:15 in the student centre (room Konf2) or via Zoom.
Tasks
As a committee that meets weekly, the AStA has an exchange function of the political actors – namely the representatives from the departments and the StuRa board.
In addition, the AStA fulfils a certain administrative role. For example, it decides on the allocation of rooms in the student house and on the use of the funds decided by the StuRa.
In addition, groups that require a grant from the student body and that have already been supported once by a student council resolution can apply to the AStA for funds of up to 250 euros.
Meetings
This semester, the AStA will meet for public meetings every Friday at 2 pm via Zoom. The dial-in details will be sent out together with the invitation email via the departmental mailing list. During the semester break, the AStA meets every fortnight.
The meetings usually follow the rules of procedure.
The recordings of the AStA meetings can be found in the minutes folder.
